Intern, Brand Practice- Spring
Are you interested in learning about the stimulating, diverse world of PR? You’ll be an integral part of one of our Brand team, contributing on your very first day!
Ketchum’s New York Office is currently looking for an intern to work with our Brand team. Interns gain experience in research, writing, media relations, and client and agency business.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining media lists
- Media monitoring and tracking media coverage
- Organizing clips/media coverage
- Writing media updates
- Preparing fact sheets and backgrounders
- Being flexible and engage in teamwork within account team
- Preparing pitch letters and pitch media
- Assisting in the development of press releases
- Attending client and/or team meetings
- Writing client and/or team memos
- Assisting with research for new business opportunities and client presentations
- Assisting with event coordination
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills,

- Passionate interest in/understanding of the field of public relations, either through course work or previous internship experiences.
- ‘B’ average or better
- Strong writer
