Position Description: Assists the Web Buying team in a support role with product management, including analyzing selling, placing product reorders, tracking product shipment, maintaining product lists, and data entry
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run and distribute style selling reports, weekly delivery sell-thru reports, wholesale web reports
- Executes weekly apparel reorders on top selling styles
- Checks the site for opportunities on slow sellers or styles with zero selling to ensure they are on the site
- Weekly status checks on product delivery
- Updates the Website Product List when changes to the buy are made, creates receiving lists to track quantities received from outside vendors, updates pre-order, and missing from site lists as products ship
- Enter projected web quantities in Wholesale System and purchase orders in Retail System, enter markdowns
- Connects with Content, Merchandising, and Customer Service teams on product status
PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED
Required Skills Desired Experience: Previous internship experience with preferably within the fashion industry.
Required Experience Education: Currently enrolled in college or university majoring in retail buying, business management, merchandising, fashion design, mathematics or a related field
Required Experience: Detail oriented individual, skilled at mathematics or has knowledge of retail buying math. Quick learner and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, proficient in Excel is a must.
