Summer Internship!!
QVC has an exciting opportunity for an Intern to work with the Category Production team at our Studio Park (West Chester, PA) location. This is a hands-on position offering great insight into QVC’s business. The Category Production team is critical in creating a streamlined and integrated approach to support our multichannel business. The team works to maximize sales strategies, creative direction, platforms and promotional messaging for brands and individual items. Our team’s key objectives include optimizing multichannel resources, communicating support strategies to key stakeholders, and learning from successes and challenges.
Under the general supervision of the category production managers, the successful candidate will:
- Assist in all phases of sales strategy for on-air.
- Coordinate and occasionally attend strategy meetings.
- Coordinate production elements for individual items and planned shows.
- Coordinate new item reports.
- Submit product graphic requests for broadcast and QVC.com.
- Submit videotape for broadcast and QVC.com.
- Complete tape dubs as assigned.
- Complete product ranking and class updates for QVC.com.
- Complete seasonal marketing updates for QVC.com.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Able to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
- Completed at least four (4) semesters of college from the following majors: Marketing, Business, Economics or Finance.
