Description
Public Relations/Events Intern
Support Hasbro’s Global Brand Publicity department with creative and marketing projects for brands like Transformers, My Little Pony, Monopoly and Play Doh.
Assist in execution of brand publicity programs for a wide range of brands.
Develop materials for brands and products for worldwide use to ensure consistent messages across the globe.
Supporting PR events, such as blogger conferencing, premieres, conventions, and press junkets.
Reviewing and circulating press releases for approvals.
Write and source content for global Intranet.
Manage corporate tour requests and process.
Scan and archive corporate materials.
Maintain corporate calendar.
Skills:
– Enrolled in undergrad program. Media and Communications, Marketing or similar degrees preferred.
– Experience in Oulook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-orientated environment.
– Creative mind who can contribute new ideas that help drive results.
– Understanding of social media platforms and the relevance social media brings to marketing plans and brand image.
– Use of creative software a plus (Photoshop, InDesign, Publisher, Illustrator)
– Sense of humor a plus!
This is an unpaid, for credit internship working 2 or 3 full days 9-5pm. Can be flexible on schedule based on internship credit requirements. A weekly stipend of $100/week will be provided.
