PAID JOURNALISM INTERNSHIPS
National Journalism Center
Washington, DC
The NJC, a project of Young America’s Foundation, awards select college students and recent graduates paid journalism internship opportunities in the political hub of the nation: Washington, DC.
Internship recipients have the chance to work with prominent DC-based media outlets like Fox, CNN, The Washington Examiner, The Washington Times, The Washington Business Journal, and more—and participate in weekly training seminars, where they learn the tips and tricks of the media trade from dozens of successful DC journalists, public policy experts, and NJC faculty in a classroom setting.
The NJC program is 12 weeks, and sessions are held three times a year in the fall, spring, and summer. NJC interns receive $1,000/month scholarship for the duration of the program.
