Intern, Artist Relations Yamaha – Indianapolis, IN

Paid internship based in Indianapolis, IN. Relocation assistance not provided.
Term: Winter/Spring: January – May
Summer: June – August
Fall: September – December
Description of duties:

• Communicate with Yamaha artists and clinicians
• Assist with proofing, revising, and editing of Yamaha artist biographies
• Mail, fax, copy, file, and other administrative duties.
• Assist in handling questions and sending applications to prospective artists
• Perform other duties as prescribed by staff

Internships with Yamaha last approximately 3 months, but will not exceed 6 months

• Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior from an accredited university, or have graduated within a year with a degree in Music, Business, Music Business or a combination thereof
• Must be able to reside near Indianapolis, IN for the duration of Internship
• Minimum GPA of 2.7
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Must be a creative problem solver with good people skills and possess the ability to be flexible in a wide variety of settings
