Are you an artist but also very tech savvy? Maybe you are an engineer who is analytical and organized but is also very creative and into photo/video production? Managing information and assets is an ongoing goal for any organization. Hasbro intellectual property and digital assets are used for and are a part of how every product is planned, created and sold. The Hasbro Content Services (HCS) program enables the flow of content, information and assets globally. Team members in this Intern will have hands on experience managing and cataloging digital content in a variety of ways as well as collaborating with business stakeholders on new processes and content types.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Candidate will interact with Digital Technology staff as well as key business stakeholders (Marketing, Creative Services, Studio Productions)
Other Key Relationships:
Candidate would also collaborate with various external partners and Agencies who produce rich media video, art, photography and graphics used by Hasbro.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Ingests digital assets for workgroup or department following the HCS standard protocols
– Applies file-level security to ingested assets
– Analyzes and evaluates quality and accuracy of assets during ingest process and overall asset formatting integrity
– Analyzes and evaluates quality and accuracy of metadata; assists in correcting metadata issues
– Assesses and reports on issues with metadata quality, articulating sources of issues and their applicability to departmental operations
– Assists in the tracking and reporting of workflow and productivity
– Records issues, problems and requests from staff for the enterprise-wide health and success of the HCSP
– Works closely with IT department
– Keeps lists of users and their roles up to date
QUALIFICATIONS :
Necessary Qualities
– Keen eye for detail and recognizing when wrong information is applied to an asset
– Understanding of need for role-based, user-based and file-level security
Desired Qualities
– Detail-oriented, responsible and quick at developing trust of coworkers for the handling of assets essential to the business
– Able to keep focused on repetitive tasks with good organizational skills
– Good interpersonal skills with strong customer orientation
– Sense of ownership for responsibilities
– Takes direction well, adaptable, flexible
– Technically savvy, able to learn new systems and processes quickly
– Familiarity with different file formats and their potential uses
– Experience with quality assurance or testing and proofreading
Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a degree program
Desired areas of study include: Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Fine Art, Library Science, Video Production, Information Technology, Software Engineering
Desired software includes Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
