Description
Digital Media Intern
A 3 to 6 month paid college level internship with primary responsibilities including, but not limited to: assisting with the development and implementation of a Social Media Marketing strategy, creating and managing a content calendar, assisting with website content and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To qualify for a Digital/Social Media internship with Radio One applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. A major in Media and Journalism, Marketing, and/or Public Relations studies preferred. Writing is essential.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid school identification. Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be organized, self-motivated, energetic and a dependable team player. Must have experience with Power Point, Publisher and Photo Shop.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of a Social Media Marketing strategy
- Assist with graphics and design.
- Assist with editing and posting to social media for all four Radio One Richmond stations.
- Assist with digital communication via email.
- Assist with updating content via content management system
