Description
Sales and Marketing Intern
A 3 to 6 month paid college level internship with primary responsibilities including, but not limited to: providing administrative support, and assisting the Sales Marketing Director with the development and implementation of event marketing plans, Public Relations and revenue generating programs for the Sales Department.
Qualifications:
To qualify for a Sales and Marketing internship at Radio One applicants must be currently enrolled in a college degree program and eligible to earn internship credit. A major in Marketing, Public Relations, Media or Journalism studies preferred.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid school identification. Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be organized, self-motivated, energetic and a dependable team player. Experience with Power Point, Publisher and Photo Shop a plus.

Responsibilities:
Assist with development and implementation of revenue generating marketing programs, station marketing materials and custom marketing plans and presentations
Assist with market research
Assist with the coordination and implementation of promotional events
Assist with special marketing projects as assigned
