The Rolls-Royce Strategic Research Center (America) is recruiting a summer intern who has innovative technical skills to assist in the maturation and potentially commercialization of high-impact technology development programs. This internship opportunity offers exposure to promoting the transition of cutting-edge gas turbine technologies. The intern will assist the Strategic Research Center program efforts in one or more topical areas. Selected intern is paid a weekly stipend, housing and travel costs; length of stay ranges from 8-12 weeks.
Ideal candidates will have a bachelor?s degree (preferably in a technical field), are in the midst of completing a graduate level degree (preferably technical degree M.S./Ph.D.), and have relevant research experience. Applicant should be prepared for deep immersion in a specific program area and must be comfortable working independently or with groups of technical/business people, and across a range of technical disciplines. Strong written and oral communication abilities, as well as an interest in gas turbine technologies, are required.
The position will be based at the Rolls-Royce offices in Indianapolis, IN. US Citizenship is required.
