Responsibilities
The Philadelphia Region of McDonald’s USA has outstanding opportunities for summer interns seeking to gain real work experience. Responsibilities will be directly assigned from the Communications Department, but may include various projects, gathering and analyzing data, coordinating meetings/events and preparing reports. Summer interns may interact with office staff and Owner/Operators.
The Philadelphia Region internship program is projected to run from June through August. Schedule may vary. However, 30+ hours per week availability is required. This is a paid internship.
Minimum Requirements
· Candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and have completed sophomore year; graduate students must have completed their first year of graduate school.
· Minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale.
· Effective communication and time management skills
· Ability to work with a team and independently in a fast paced environment
· Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
· Letter of recommendation from a professor is preferred
