SUMMARY OF POSITION
Alloy Entertainment, LLC seeks an Alloy Summer Intern for the Alloy Entertainment Executive department. The Intern will gain practical work experience and knowledge in the areas of Theatrical and Television Development & Production.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides clerical support to the department: archiving scripts, xeroxing scripts and processing script and coverage requests.
- Maintains lists of available actors and compiles into database.
- Prepares competitive development reports.
- Performs research as needed.
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive course credit for the internship.
- Pursuit of a college degree in Film, Communications, English or related major required.
- No previous work experience required although some experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
- Writing, social media, and script reading a plus.
- Knowledge of theatrical/television development process.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Warner Bros. executives and members of the creative community.
- Ability to research and coordinate various projects, and identify resources.
- Ability to develop an understanding of business relations with filmmakers, talent and agents.
- PC skills required.
- Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.
- Knowledge of report, letter, etc. format.
- Must have a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn about all facets of the entertainment industry.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel.
- Must have the ability to work under time constraints.
- Must be well organized and have good attention to detail.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Must be able to adapt to varied personalities associated with film production.
