We are pleased to offer a six month International Internship starting in July 2014 at BMW of North America, LLC.
International Internship BMW NA – Experiential Marketing
The Experiential Marketing Intern is responsible for working with the National Events, Shows & Exhibits Manager at BMW NA to assist with the logistics, coordination and activation of national and regional auto shows and events. This role supports the corporate and product communications of the BMW brand values. This role will primarily interact with BMW NA’s Vehicle Logistics team and Product Planning team as well as any approved auto show and drive team vendors and exhibit service companies.
As an intern you will:
• Interact with NA headquarters, Munich and Product Team for volume based planning for production vehicles
• Monitor and react to product market needs and take rates in collaboration with Product Team
• Design fleet specifications, place fleet orders, and monitor fleet production and transportation
• Assist with development of floor plans for BMW auto shows
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications to maximize public relations efforts at each show
• Update the BMW Auto Show iPap app with relevant product and pricing updates and new model year images
• Support logistics for the all new i3/i8 launch in conjunction with the National Aftersales Conference with over 2,000+ participants from NA, Canada, and Mexico
• Assist with literature needs that stimulate demand and change perceptions
• Secure competitive vehicles for Summer Sales Driving event
• Provide overall support for BMW Experiential Marketing team and special events; including writing and routing of appropriate memos and invoices, updating and monitoring spreadsheets.
