We are currently seeking a Summer Intern to be located in our Atlanta office. This 12-week paid summer internship will begin on or after May 26 and end on or before August 15 .
Anticipated hours per week: 30
Internship Qualifications:
• Rising junior, senior or graduate student at an accredited college/university (Applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the start of the internship)
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0
• Previous internship experience, participation in college clubs/organizations or in-depth coursework in a related field
• Must have good organization and time-management skills and be self-motivated
• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and attention to accuracy
• Strong writing and photography skills are a plus
Duties and Responsibilities
• Ingesting photos into HGTVGardens CMS and completing metadata
• Assembling galleries and articles for HGTVGardens
• Some writing/photography for HGTVGardens if desired
• Assisting with long-term HGTVGardens projects on a case-by-case basis
• Assisting editor-in-chief in reaching out to PR contacts and dealing with writers where applicable
• Maintaining PR spreadsheet and landscape designer resources
