Distribution Field Sales will educate an intern on the importance of Distribution within a cable network as well as within the cable industry. Major Responsibilities include: Manage marketing/promotional campaigns (i.e. 2014 Annual Promotion, ROTS program). Ad hoc projects including premium fulfillment, presentation creation, event planning/coordination, research of affiliate websites, affiliate packaging/pricing, alternate distribution platforms and multi-cultural offerings. Budget management. Administrative tasks. Collaborate with the Sales-West intern to complete a presentation to the Distribution team on an approved industry topic.
Required Experience:
College undergraduates who are, at a minimum, entering their sophomore year in 2014 or graduate students having completed at least one semester of post graduate work. Student must have a demonstrated interest in the industry and/or specific area of interest (i.e. marketing), as exemplified through past work experience, internships and/or major course of study, and preferably a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
