ECUPirates.com Student Assistant Positions

 

The Athletics Media Relations Office at East Carolina University, an NCAA Division I member of the American Athletic Conference, announces two part-time student openings within its department for the 2014-15 sport seasons. The successful candidates will assist the athletic media relations office with all of its audiovisual needs and will help film and edit (produce post-practice and post-game) interviews and highlights for the ECUPirates.comwebsite.

 

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of operational procedures for a variety of audiovisual and electronic equipment, including video cameras (Panasonic P2HD, FlipCam), editing software (Final Cut Pro or Premiere) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects). An ability to think creatively, evaluate, assess and troubleshoot situations along with strong interpersonal skills, sports and social media knowledge (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate is required.

 

The desired candidates must have a flexible schedule to work all home ECU events as well as attend selected practices and other athletic events.
