DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Intern will work full-time as a Team member within one of the following areas: Employment, or Talent Development.
Conduct research and handle special projects as assigned by Leadership to support the goals and objectives of Employment, or Leadership Development initiatives.
Organize materials for meetings, Talent reviews, succession planning sessions, presentations or reports.
Assist with special projects and events as requested:
Employment: NoLimits Internship, Onboarding, Talent Development, recruiting efforts, retention, compliance, and compensation. Potential projects include, but are not limited to: Intern event coordination and planning, recruiting call projects, hiring events, compliance audit data or metrics gathering, etc.
Talent Development: Managers in Training Program (MIT), Emerging Leadership Development Program (ELDP), workshops, and training. Assist in coordination and preparation for the Leadership Development Programs. Assist in evening planning for major Program events.
Communicate with outside sources, vendors, Teams, and Internal/External Customers via personal contact, telephone, and written correspondence.
Assist with various research and process improvements for Employment, or Leadership Development group.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
EDUCATION:
Progress towards degree, major, or minor in HR Management, Training Development, Learning Technology, Organizational Development, or related field (OR a minimum of 12 hours completed in HR related coursework).
Minimum junior level.
Maintained 2.75 or above cumulative GPA.
EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a Team.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines.
Experience in Graphic Design, Photoshop, and MS Office preferred.
Strong interest in Training or Recruiting as a career is a plus.
Ability to lift and move items such as tables and chairs in order to set up and break down classrooms.
Oral and written communication skills.
Event planning experience preferred.
Previous part-time job or internship experience preferred.
Involvement in campus organizations, clubs, or extracurricular activities preferred.
Membership in SHRM is a plus.
Previous Leadership positions are a plus.
