ECU NEWS SERVICES: Paid internship available at 15-20 hours per week in a diverse learning environment focused on telling the story of the university using web, social media, print, video and still photography. The position is based on main campus and will be available May 4. This is a hands-on position where you will be asked to gather and aggregate information, and write and disseminate information in a variety of formats (including enterprise stories, Pirate profiles, event coverage and news releases). The right candidate will be inquisitive, flexible, team-oriented, resourceful, accurate and very dependable. This is a goal-oriented environment. You will work with an experienced news staff of storytellers and media relations professionals. The ideal candidate would work this summer and fall semester 2015, spring semester 2016 and possibly longer depending on success in the position and availability.
