Are you looking for a great way to update your resume? Help Dr. Kris Kirschbaum get an additional bike program started for ECU by making a video.
Final Product:
Bicycle safety video segments
Multiple segments that first demonstrate dangerous bicycle practices and habits on streets, followed by an instruction video in “how-to” safer bicycle practices and habits. Final segment shows the better bicycle practices and habits on streets.
At least 3 or 4 of these segments for different bicycle safety tips in total. Ideally, the video can be shown in individual segments (the 3 components of bad practice, instruction, and better practice), and as a complete safety video with all of the components.
Also ideal would be student outreach in the community to find community partners interested in helping disseminate the video through their media channels.
These extra incentives can help fuel the bike share program that can connect ECU main campus buildings with outlying parking structures, and the uptown area. If successful, the bike share kiosks can be dispersed in other locations around Greenville.
As long as there is a “Safety First” component to reduce the potential for hazardous bicycle incidents.
