East Carolina University’s Dance Marathon is a student organization that raises funds for our local children’s hospital, James and Connie Maynard. Our board recruits student organizations to register for our Dance Marathon event to help aid our local Children’s Hospital. At the conclusion of our fundraising campaign we plan to hold an 8-hour dance marathon in which consists of hourly entertainment within the Social Rooms of Mendenhall Student Center. This is the moment when students, faculty, and our miracle children get to come together and experience how it feels to give back. The students who choose to join this event truly get to see the fruits of their labor as we join together to raise money for the children who are treated at James and Connie Maynard and for the hospital itself.
Our Executive Board is currently looking for students to become either a Chair or Committee member. We believe that the students who are majoring in Communications would be interested in this opportunity to further their experience in problem solving, event planning, and working in a group environment. All open positions will look great on any student’s resume because of the magnitude of this organization within the United States. The due date for the application is Thursday March 24th at 11: 59 p.m. for both applications. All applicants will be contacted within 48 hours of the deadline to schedule an interview time with our Executive Board.
