Global Academic Initiatives is developing a set of StoryMaps highlighting each of the countries we partner with for the Global Understanding program. The project will be launched on-line and in an interaction display on campus this fall. Individual graduate assistants will take responsibility for particular countries. They will have to gather images in and information about each country, create content, and enter it into the mapping application. Familiarity with StoryMaps is beneficial, but not necessary—we will train. GAs will be expected to work 25 hrs/week at $15/hr. Currently we are only hiring for SS1, but may be able to hire SS2 pending funding. We are hoping to fill these positions quickly.
