Position: Marketing Summer Intern
Reports to: Account Manager
Hours: 20 hours per week (specific schedule TBD)
Timeframe: 8 weeks June 6 – July 29
OR
June 6 – Aug 5 (wk of July 4 unpaid week off)
Compensation: $250 gross per week ($2000 total)
Processed bi-weekly as a W-9 payroll employee

Summer Intern Overview
Group3 is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can apply what she/he has learned in
an academic setting to real-world marketing challenges. The candidate should be ready to jump in and
take on assignments, be inquisitive and eager to learn new skills, and be assertive in suggesting ideas
and adding value to the team.
The position provides the opportunity for practical learning and growth and to have a direct impact on
real-world marketing campaigns.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct online research, analyze and draw conclusions, and prepare reports related to client market
environment and competitors
Write press releases for client public relations efforts
Develop and update media lists, distribute press releases to media outlets, and place follow-up calls
to editors and other media contacts
Conduct online research to curate client blog content
Assist with client content marketing (editorial calendars, social media, blogging, etc.)
Assist with website development, web maintenance and SEO
Requirements
Recent graduate or rising college senior with course
work in Communications / Marketing / Public Relations
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proficient in PC-based Microsoft Office software
Working knowledge of common social media channels
Optional Skills
Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative
Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
