Videographer/Editor Intern Request (Greenville Police)
The Greenville Police Department is looking for a highly motivated, personable, creative individual who can assist the Department with promotional video needs. The desired candidate will work on a variety of projects for the Department’s website, social media pages and recruiting materials. The intern will work directly for the GPD’s Public Information Officer.
Requirements:
- Bring GPD’s video requests to life from the concept stage to the final finished product
- Edit and shoot short videos for marketing, online content and social media accounts
- Write, direct, shoot and edit all videos in a timely manner while also meeting all creative requests
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Demonstrable video and editing skills with a strong portfolio
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
This internship is unpaid but students can receive class credit. It is an excellent opportunity for students looking for experience and exposure by working with a nationally-accredited and recognized government agency. The Greenville Police Department’s work has been featured nationally on television programs and publications such as Fox News, The Today Show, People Magazine, USA Today, and The Washington Post. Hours are flexible. In some cases, students will have the ability to work remotely.
