The Motion Graphic Artist is responsible for the creative process at different stages such as conceptualization, storyboarding, animating and editing. As well as developing video and animation motion graphics in 2- and 3- dimensional images.
Responsibilities
•Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables
•Collaborates with producers, creative directors and editors in creative development
•Concept, develop, manage and inspire top-level creative product
•Executes style frames and storyboards as needed
•Designs and animates in 2D and 3D for wide variety of motion projects, including totally animated videos to composited text and graphics over footage.
•Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
•Work with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
•Edit video footage to add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
•Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
•Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines and design standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in design-related discipline is a plus
•5+ years of industry experience in a well established, client-facing creative role
•7+ years with experience in digital video (web / social / broadcast) for fast-paced, quality-driven production studio
•Experienced in full Adobe Creative Suite (AE, AI, PS, PP, etc.) as well as Cinema4D and Maya—KeyShot is a plus
•A portfolio or reel that showcases previous work
•Excellent time-management skills are a must
