PITT COMMUNITY COLLEGE BASEBALL PA ANNOUNCER 2017
The Pitt Community College Baseball Program is seeking a public address announcer to call home games for the 2017 Spring season. Games begin Saturday, February 18th and conclude Sunday May 7th.
Requirements:
Day-to-Day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Strong vocal talent
- Strong knowledge of baseball, including rules and positions
- Ability to multi-task
- Comfortable announcing to crowds
- Comfortable announcing complex names from a variety of ethnic backgrounds
- Able to attend all home Pitt Community College baseball games and arrive 1 hour before the game begins
- Receptive to both positive and negative feedback
- Ability to be spontaneous and react quickly as appropriate
- Comfortable working closely with coaching staff and gameday personnel.
