I am emailing in regards to let students know about two writing positions I have available for the summer. As General Manager of the Magazine Division for ECU Student Media and editor, I am currently looking for writers for the summer and also the fall for The Hook; ECU’s Student Interest Magazine. I am looking for students who love to write and want to make a difference.
The Hook is a magazine produced twice a year and aims to cover the many events, social issues, and student organizations making an impact on campus. The magazine comes out twice a year and I am looking for writers this summer to help bring the fall edition to life. This is a paid stipend position that can last from summer, fall and into the spring semester and requires only four office hours a week that are flexible. It is a great experience for those who want to work on being more creative in their writing and being a storyteller. Writers will have the opportunity to interview, report and write on a variety of topics from sports to fashion to traveling. I am looking for writers to start as soon as possible.
