Greenville Fire/Rescue Internship with the Fire & Life Safety Education/Public Information Division
Intern applicants should be well-rounded in different fields of communication as the job of a Fire and Life Safety Educator and Public Information Officer (FLSE/PIO) employs several different skill sets. As a GFR intern, you will be required to assist with multiple different activities, including event planning, managing social media, writing press releases, producing promotional videos for department and engaging community members of all ages and backgrounds. Applicants should have strong public speaking and writing skills. Most of the time, I am flexible on when you can get your hours in, but sometimes you may be asked to work an event on a weekend or evening. This will be a rewarding internship for anyone who enjoys working to engage people in their community.
