The School of Communication’s Speech Communication Center works with students, faculty and staff members, and Pitt County residents to improve verbal communication skills. We have two offices: one in 205 Joyner East; and one in 3508D Laupus Library on west campus.
Our biggest challenge is making sure that the ECU community is aware of the services we offer.
We would love to have an intern who is proficient in PR/ Journalism to help us market the Center on a very limited budget.
One project will be to create a promotional video that we can link to our website and use independently to help spread the word about the services we offer. We would like to also record workshops that we do to link to our web page.
