Summary: JPR is seeking the next group of rising student stars in their junior & senior year at university to
immerse in our hands-on and fast-paced intern program in San Diego, LA, and NYC.
You are a born leader hungry to gain the elusive and invaluable hands-on experience at one of the top PR
agencies to kick-start your future career. You know the basics of traditional PR and are hungry for creative
ways to apply them. Travel is your passion, and you can prove it, whether you’ve lived abroad, traveled
extensively or just spent years reading about amazing destinations in the glossies.
This dynamic four-month internship immerses you into JPR real-time: engaging with media, crafting pitches,
delving into research, developing press kits and collaborating with top-tier teams both in the office and
throughout our locations via social channels. Your capabilities will be utilized to the fullest extent and your
experience will prepare you for a well-seasoned PR career. As an intern, you will be challenged beyond the
day-to-day essentials of PR. You will walk away with hands-on experience, education, training and
preparedness for your career.

Duties & Responsibilities:
During your 4-month internship you will learn to:
• Secure press placements, pro-style
• Gain front-row access to PR strategy
• Navigate Cision, creating quality media lists
• Hone writing skills, elevate press releases
• Brainstorm on pitches, story angles and partnerships
• Learn time management tips + ticks
• Engage with industry leaders and award-winning company culture
• Learn to collaborate & network with team/client and professional individuals
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Must be a college student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations,
communication, journalism, marketing and/or business is preferred

• Must be able to commit to a weekly schedule of 15-20 hours a week
• Previous internship experience is expected
