PAID INTERN WANTED
Area: Communications and web design
Company: Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church
Hours and Wages: Total of 85 hours over 17 weeks at $10/hr
(average of 5hrs/week from Sept 1 to Jan 1)
Responsibilities: Work with the staff and volunteers of Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 107 Louis Street, Greenville NC 27858, to redesign the church’s webpage and develop an overall communication strategy for the church.
Qualifications:
- Active Student
- Strong recommendation from inside and outside the university system
- Satisfactory background check
- Collaborative attitude with a drive to excel
- Proficiency in web design and a variety of communication software
- Preference for someone familiar with Christianity and the Church but not required

A pool of finalists will be identified and then contacted for on site interviews. If the position is not filled by September 1st, the chosen applicant will be invited, but not required, to work more than 5hrs/week to reach 85hrs before the end of the year.
Other Helpful Information: Saint Timothy’s hopes to employ someone with these, and other communications skills, in a full time position in the future. Any successful intern would have an advantage in a future application process. During this time certain role, the intern will be provided an onsite workspace and desktop if needed. There is an expectation that some of your work time will be fulfilled onsite but an understanding that much of your work can also be accomplished remotely. A flexible schedule will be agreed upon by the intern and John Porter-Acee who will supervise this position.
