The 2019 Effie Collegiate Brand Challenge is underway.
For this year’s competition, Subaru has tasked students with designing an integrated campaign that reinvents the experience of buying a new car to meet the expectations of Millennials/Gen-Z.
The competition is an opportunity for students to apply tools learned in the classroom to a real-world challenge for an established brand. Professors may engage their spring semester classes or add the challenge to their course curriculum. Students also have the option to enter independent of the class. The competition is free to enter.
Entries will be reviewed and judged by industry professionals from various disciplines including client, media, and agency companies. All qualifying participants will receive feedback on their work from the judges.
Selected finalists will be invited to present their ideas in-person to senior members of Subaru’s brand team at their HQ, and winners are awarded monetary prizes.
