Democracy Summer
Democracy Summer is a hands-on, life-changing paid summer internship. Democracy Summer is an innovative internship program that exposes young leaders to new ideas and political movements, teaching them how to organize people around a shared vision for a better democracy in our state. The program also equips young people with lifelong skills that they can use to work for positive social change in their communities. Communications Fellowship
In companion with their annual Democracy Summer program, Communications Fellows manage the summer’s multimedia projects — a podcast and short video production — and further highlight the work of our youth activists. Research Fellowship
Democracy North Carolina is hiring three Research Fellows for Summer 2021. This college/community college junior, senior, recent graduate, or graduate student will work closely with Democracy NC’s Advocacy Team in a 10-week program that is focused on building research and data analysis skills in the context of our pro-democracy work.
