The Wilson Tobs Baseball Club is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable college students who would like to obtain a 2021 Summer Internship within the field of sports. These front office Interns will receive experience in multiple departments within their organization such as marketing, sales, media relations, event operations, community relations, and more.

Operations and Event Management
Stadium Operation interns will assist and control management of game day staff, set-up and breakdown of stadium daily, and set up for promotion events. Interns are also responsible for maintaining the ballpark, orders, deliveries, and assist in inventory management and control. You will learn the ins & outs of the operations business of sports and in this internship will require working outdoors. Interns will also gain experience in sales and will have a large role in all youth and promotional programs (ex: camps).
Promotions and Marketing
Promotions & Marketing Intern will be focused on in-game promotions and on-field entertainment while assisting in projects that enhance the marketing of the Tobs. This intern will supervise all on-field contests and on-field entertainment, will assist with management of in-game atmosphere, including PA announcements, music, sound effects, etc., will oversee all player and mascot appearances, and will supervise any community relations projects. Additionally, this individual(s) will assist with advertisement placement for the team on television and in newspapers and assist with the coordination of marketing projects in conjunction with the Assistant General Manager for Wilson Tobs Baseball. Knowledge in all aspects and features of Microsoft Office products is required. Graphic design experience is a plus.
Video Production and Media
Ideal candidate needs to be knowledgeable of website navigation, social media marketing, and video design. Interns will be offered the opportunity to travel with the team for away games. Intern will gain experience in interviewing players, coaches, sponsors, etc. to create fan based focused marketing videos. This position will be an important asset to the game day video production and game broadcast. Media relation and video production department will be responsible for set up, video broadcast, social media updates, and recap of each Tobs home games/promotions. Interns will also work closely with the marketing and community relations department to increase media exposure; with a focus on increasing sales, brand awareness and community outreach.
Athletic Training
Interns will work side by side with a registered orthopedic physician & athletic trainer. This position requires them to be available to work every Wilson Tobs home game and practice during the season. Must be able to learn, treat, track, and monitor 40 college baseball players and coaches.
Summer 2021 Internships are expected to range from May 10th to August 10th.
