Public Relations Intern Job Description:
A successful public relations intern candidate will be passionate about the anti-human trafficking movement in North Carolina, comfortable with networking and developing connections within the community and within the university and be a creative problem solver. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The public relations intern will be tasked with:
- Daily Social Media posts
- Weekly e-newsletter
- Create brochures, flyers, mailings as needed
- Update website as needed
- Staff table at speaking engagements, community events
- Ability to craft press releases and media advisories
- Developing and fostering relationships with community leaders and media partners
