Training Coordination Student – Daktronics – Remote

Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.

Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a U.S. home office or Daktronics location. This opportunity is open to U.S. based candidates. 

Candidates must be enrolled and registered as a full-time student. Ideal candidate should be available to work approximately 15-20 hours/week during the academic year and at least 20-40 hours per week during the summer.

 Schedule Management:

  • Coordinate training activities for all markets at Daktronics. 
  • Assemble and distribute training materials in preparation for scheduled trainings. 
  • Develop reports on training activities, performance, and cost using the scheduling software (Quickbase). 
  • Monitor and process webinar registrations, cancellations, and distribute webinar recordings. 
  • Add new orders, extra parts, and new contracts in to scheduling software (Quickbase) for tracking. 
  • Track and email unconfirmed & closeout webinars.
  • Manage webinar rooms in Adobe Management system.
  • Organize training schedule to ensure our customers are getting training as needed.

 Customer Engagement:

  • Respond to customer questions via email and phone.
  • Escalate customer requests to appropriate resource if needed.
  • Communicate with supervisor on interactions with customers as needed.
  • Potential to conduct software training to both internal and external customers.

  • Process Improvement: continually look for areas to improve our ability to provide our customers the best possible experience while remaining operationally efficient.

  • Other duties as assigned and required to meet customer expectations and much more within the Professional Services groups at Daktronics.

Qualifications

Academic Requirements:

  • The preferred candidate will be a full-time student currently enrolled in accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Consumer Affairs, Business, Economics, Accounting, Entrepreneurial Studies, Advertising, Hospitality Management, Education, Sports Management, or related programs.
  • The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.
  • Only strong academic performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered.
  • Must maintain an acceptable GPA.
  • Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position. 

 Other Requirements: 

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Microsoft office experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements, which includes following safety protocols related to COVID-19.
