Internship for credit – unpaid

Pitt County Schools Public Information Officer is looking for an intern for Summer of 2021 to assist in updating print materials, creating social media content, website management and preparing materials for the media.

 

Learning opportunities include but are not limited to:

  • Graphic design and promotional material development and updating;
  • Creating social media content, develop LinkedIn;
  • Writing press releases and interacting with the media;
  • Website development and management

 

Ideal candidate would be a junior or senior in communication with skills related to:

  • Strong writing;
  • Graphic design;
  • Photography;
  • Social media content creation and management;
  • Experience with Hootsuite social media management tool;
  • Adobe InDesign/Spark or similar tool such as Canva;
  • Strong initiative and self-motivated.
