Job DescriptionNC Stop Human Trafficking – 1413 Evans Street, Suite A – Greenville, NC – is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant position requires the potential candidate to be comfortable posting on several social media platforms, being passionate social justice issues as well as anti-human trafficking initiatives, understand strategic digital and in-person relationship development and be comfortable attending regular community events to discuss our work and products.

The marketing assistant will be asked to share information on several social media platforms about NC Stop Human Trafficking’s and Fair Traders Project’s programs, as well as representing the non-profit at events like community health fairs or campus events.

The marketing assistants will be responsible for managing our presence at the Umbrella Market in Uptown Greenville. The Umbrella Market is open every Wednesday from May 4 until June 2, from 5-8pm. The marketing assistants will setup the tables and tent at 4pm, arrange the Fair Trade products for sale and manage the sales each week.

The marketing assistant will also be asked to collect and analyze performance on several social media platforms and adjust the messaging based on the data to improve reach, engagement and website traffic.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Drive
Proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
2.0 GPA
Valid Driver’s License
Dependable transportation
Basic understanding of marketing principles
Comfortable talking with people
Willingness to manage the Umbrella Market every Wednesday night May 18-June 29

Preferences:
Business or communication major
Understanding of Graphic Design
Understanding of photography
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
