Marketing / Advertising Intern

Summary:
As a successful Marketing / Advertising Intern, your main responsibility is to learn the ropes and provide support in marketing-related areas of the business.

Responsibilities:
The Marketing / Advertising intern will assist the Client Services & Advertising Manager on various projects such as, but not limited to:

Tracking and managing online and traditional media advertising

Monitor websites and keep content fresh

Write press releases, e-mail blasts, newsletters and web stories when necessary

Maintain team photo galleries

Assisting with sponsor fulfillment and game duties

Assisting with hands-on marketing and promotional events/tasks

Assisting with media relations and media partnerships when necessary

Assisting with activation and implementation of corporate partner initiatives

You will also gain valuable experience in the baseball industry, with full training provided and the opportunity to work closely with many members of the Ripken Baseball staff!

Qualifications:
We require:
CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENT OR RECENT COLLEGE GRAD

Some knowledge of computer programs such as Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel

We are willing to teach the right, motivated individual!

The ability to work longer hours and weekend when necessary

While this is an unpaid internship, we will be glad to work with you and your college or university to ensure you receive college credit for this position!
