Summer Paid Internship – Communications (Fox Sports – New York, NY)

TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST BE A STUDENT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN AN UNDERGRAD PROGRAM.

Communications oversees business and consumer public relations efforts, as well as crisis management on behalf of FOX Sports Networks (FSN).

Job Duties:

  • Research on current industry events / issues
  • Updating media lists
  • Researching social media best practices
  • Compiling press clips and distributing to Fox executives
  • Transcribing press calls
  • Drafting programming and scheduling notes or media
  • Researching media local and national targets

Learning objectives:

  • Improved written and verbal skills
  • Improved interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the daily operations of a sports media company, particularly the functions of the PR group

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal skills
