Part Time Unpaid Internship
International Music Licensing/Representation Company paired with a well-established music talent agency is looking for a Music Intern that is bright, knowledgeable, and passionate about film scores and instrumental music.
The best candidate will be a self-starter and will be able to take direction and work quickly and efficiently to complete assigned tasks. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for experience in the film and media music industry. Candidates should have a strong understanding of various genre of music and be able to clearly and accurately describe the music they are hearing.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Listening to our catalog of high-end film scores
Assigning metadata information (tagging)
Assisting with cataloging of film scores
Assisting Media Coordinator with various music processing tasks
Desired Qualifications:
Working toward a BA/BM in Music (Music Composition or Musicology preferred) or related music degree
Proficiency with Mac computers
Exceptional writing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with FileMaker Pro a plus
Previous music tagging experience a plus
Great attitude and work ethic
