Is the professional sports & entertainment industry in your future career path? Here’s your chance to experience it first hand while interning at a dynamic organization. The Atlanta Hawks (NBA) and world-class entertainment venue, Philips Arena, are looking for passionate team players to participate in our Fall 2012 Course Credit Internship Program. This program is designed to give top students real-life experience in the sports and entertainment industry in addition to providing educational and networking opportunities. Educational components include interactive workshops, executive speaker series and job shadow opportunities.

PROGRAM GUIDELINES:

• We are now accepting applications for the Fall 2012 term (May/June – August)
• Course Credit Internships are open to college students only (junior, senior or graduate level)
• Interns must receive academic credit toward graduation – no exceptions (students are responsible for providing documentation confirming academic credit for the internship)
• No financial compensation is available
• Interns are responsible for travel and housing arrangements
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Minimum of 12 weeks participation is required
• Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (minimum of 20 hours per week required for part-time)
• Interns must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7
