Looking for experience in theme park brand and special event marketing? Brand Marketing Interns have the unique opportunity to support the marketing efforts of the North American Brand team.
Brand Marketing Interns at Universal Orlando are responsible for: Supporting marketing related activities. Providing administrative support. Supporting various internal partners including Advertising, Sales, Publicity, and Promotions. Providing special event marketing strategy and execution. Updating marketing reports. Conducting competitive research. Supporting strategy for in-park communications and the North American brand strategy. Providing support with the Marquee events team on the management of projects around our signature theme park events. Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. Performing other duties as assigned.
To perform the role of a Brand Marketing Intern successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be an actively enrolled student for the Summer 2012 semester as a college Junior, Senior, or as a Graduate seeking student. Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA required. Must be majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Business. Must be available to commit to a set schedule, working between 25-40 hours per week from May 14, 2012 thru August 10, 2012. Must have strong analytical skills. Must have strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) preferred. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task and stay organized to meet deadlines. Previous Marketing internship experience or work experience in an office environment a plus.
