This Internship is for Fall 2012.

Looking for experience in theme park marketing? Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations Marketing Interns have the unique opportunity to work with the Universal Orlando Strategic Planning and Integration Department.

Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations Marketing Interns at Universal Orlando are responsible for:

Researching and compiling competitive activity with other theme parks and wholesalers.

Managing and maintaining project timelines.

Coordinating with internal and external partners on various projects.

Point person for Spanish website updates (fluency in Spanish not required).

Reviewing UPRV consumer-direct and travel-agent websites to ensure accuracy.

Providing administrative support to the UPRV Marketing Team.

Participating in the brainstorming and development of innovative marketing strategies.

Assisting in properly and professionally creating Creative Briefs.

Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To perform the role of a Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations Marketing Intern successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Consistent attendance and punctuality is a job requirement.

Must be an actively enrolled student for the Fall 2012 semester as a college Senior.

Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA required.

Must be pursuing a degree in Marketing, Management, or Communications.

Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Must be available to work at least 8 hours a day/3 days a week, starting September 2012 thorough December 2012.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must be willing to be flexible.

Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) preferred.
