The Atlanta office is looking for a strong, Atlanta based candidate for the paid position of Global Advertising Intern for The Wall Street Journal franchise. The position will require someone who can independently manage the day-to-day administrative duties of both print and digital sales. The following skills, knowledge and abilities are required:

Qualifications/Key Requirements:

• Very strong communication skills

• Organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize

• Careful attention to detail

• Proficiency in MS Word, Power Point and Excel


Responsibilities will include:

•Assist in scanning and maintenance of Insertion Orders & internal account folders

• Manage campaign schedule for various Fortune 100 accounts. Assist coordinators, planners and associates in maintaining current, accurate and complete client database lists and weekly reports

•Complete mailing requests as needed

•Maintain
The Wall Street Journal archives, digital tears, and screen shots
•Complete billing requests, supply orders and assist with travel planning. Order and distribute trade news to the team (newsletters, website links, other trade magazines, etc).


Timeliness – Make sure tasks are completed thoroughly and quickly.


Business Knowledge – Know everything we sell, including all of
The Wall Street Journal and The Wall Street Journal Digital Network. Know who in NY to contact for answers to any questions you or a customer might have and have a thorough understanding of the following software: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Gather competitive knowledge.

Initiative – Look for new ways to make the office run more smoothly and efficiently.
