Meshae Studios, an up-and-coming indie production company, is currently seeking a production assistant intern to assist with all aspects of operating our multi-media production studio from April 2013 through August 2013. This internship is UNPAID and the intern will be required to commit 8-10 hours per week. Hours are flexible.
Duties include but are not limited to: assisting studio manager with all studio operations needs, working with editors, pitching guests and story ideas, booking guests, greeting guests, producing graphics, selecting music to be used in promos, assisting during off location shoots, and attending production meetings. This is a great opportunity to learn all of the aspects of producing. This position has the potential to develop into a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.
Requirements:
– Must be highly organized, mature, and a creative self-starter
– Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
– Photoshop skills preferred
– Good interpersonal skills
– Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
– Ability to work with minimal supervision.
– Preferred major: Film/Video/Communications or Marketing
