Job Description We are a young, rapidly growing business in the green building and education industry. We need an energetic and passionate marketing intern with a strong interest in modern marketing techniques.
This is a for-credit part-time internship with a strong potential for salaried hire after the three-month internship term based on your proven impact on revenue. This is not a busywork role! We want someone who will come in ready to take on real responsibility and make real decisions about our marketing strategy.
Activities:
- Assisting with development of market strategies
- Designing marketing campaigns
- Researching specific target markets in the clean-tech industry
- Writing and editing blog posts
- Interviewing CleanEdison alumni, affiliates, and instructors
- Collaborating with and reporting directly to our Director of Online Marketing
Qualifications
- Able to take initiative and work independently
- Experience with writing copy and press releases
- Design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS)
- Highly organized
- Naturally outgoing and social
- Ability to operate well in a collaborative environment
- Very comfortable with social media advertising
- Previous experience in communications, media relations, journalism, marketing, or branding desirable
- Ideally graphic design major with computor graphic or website construction experience
Additional Information This internship has the potential for full-time, salaried employment after a 3-month period.
