Position: Yahoo! Studios Summer Intern – News & Finance

Yahoo! Studios is a premier digital studio, producing many of the top original programs online. Yahoo! Studios productions have been nominated or won Streamys, Webbys, IAWTV, Digiday, Emmy, and Edward R Murrow awards.
Yahoo! Studios is looking for high-energy summer interns to support the production teams in Santa Monica, CA , Sunnyvale, CA and New York, NY. The ideal candidate should have tremendous enthusiasm for video production and the online space, and have a desire to learn more about digital media.
Responsibilities:
-Support the teams on their daily production needs: production coordination, assisting on shoots, pitching story ideas, working with talent, screen & log field tapes, etc.
-Assist in the creative development of shows
-Partner with producers to engage audiences around our shows¹ social media accounts
-Competitive review and analysis of digital video programming across the web
Candidate Qualifications:
-A rising junior or a rising senior currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
-Great CAN-DO Attitude and an abundance of Energy, Passion & Drive
-Preferably entering Junior or Senior year in college
-Self-motivated and results oriented
-Strong verbal, telephone and communication skills
-Excellent organization and attention to detail- Solid
-Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Final Cut is a plus
