Longwood University in Farmville, VA, a NCAA Division I member of the Big South Conference, seeks qualified applicants for an Athletic Marketing Internship for the 2013 ? 2014 school year.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assisting with execution of marketing and promotional plans, sponsorship fulfillment, assisting with group ticket sales and special events, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree; one year experience in athletics ticketing, marketing, and/or sales; excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; proven ability to work successfully with colleagues from diverse backgrounds as a team player; high level of energy, creativity, and initiative; integrity and character with a knowledge of and compliance with NCAA, Big South Conference and Longwood Athletic Department rules and regulations.
