Please Note: Students @ Work Internships paid at minimum-wage and structured to last approximately 12 weeks. Program dates are September 23rd – November 29th. Course Credit is available. Resume and Cover Letter are required. Students should have a strong academic record (3.0 strongly preferred). Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP). Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply. Note to International Students: All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to your arrival if accepted to the program. Due to the high volume of candidates for Turner’s Internship Program, interested students are encouraged to apply for openings as soon as possible, as these positions will be filled on an ongoing basis. Department:
Strategic Marketing & Partnerships works as a liaison team between our ad sales counterparts and the creative team to execute added value opportunities, such as custom promotions and sponsorships, for our advertiser clients.

Potential Opportunities:

Promotions Management & Execution
•Assist with management and execution of the following promotions.
•Traffic tapes to legal, net ops and client for review and approval.
• Handle client and sales requests for dubs, conversions and other materials after each promotion launches.
•Compile sponsorships results tracker document with all information pertaining to confirmed 2012 promotions.
Marketplace Intelligence & Brainstorming
•Brainstorm innovative custom and shelf promotional ideas for a wide variety of CN advertisers in preparation for Upfront RFPs.
•Research and analyze competitive promotions & sponsorships.
•Track marketplace trends and styles.
Qualifications:
Candidate should be seeking a career Marketing, Communications and/or Media. Should be self-motivated, ability to work in a team environment and multi-task, have a good attitude, and be able to function well in an environment with short deadlines and quick turnaround projects. Student should also have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
