Merchandising, Women’s Apparel
Looking for an internship that puts you at the direct center of a great American Fashion House? The Women’s Apparel Merchandising team serves as the link between all of the Design, Technical Design, Production, Sales/Planning, Buying and Marketing/PR Teams. This internship will provide a hands-on experience in the creative, analytical, and logistical aspects of Merchandising, giving you full exposure to everything that goes into creating and selling a line. Merchandising analyzes the brand’s past and current business strategies, and researches upcoming trends to develop plans that will move the business forward.
A candidate
fit for us: Your education may include Fashion Merchandising or a related area of study You are detail oriented, accurate, flexible, organized, and able to multitask You are proficient in Microsoft Excel You are creative and have an understanding of the Kenneth Cole Productions brand aesthetic An internship fit f or you:
- Supporting the Merchandising team by researching trends using various trend forecasting websites
- Partnering with Manager to execute the daily tasks necessary for achieving merchandising goals
- Learning how to work with line sheets and buy plans
- Coordinating with Merchandisers to organize and log sales samples, ecommerce samples and TOPs
- Assisting the team by distributing and updating key merchandising documents
